Senate Fellow | Office of Senator Durazo

Exciting updates! I am happy to share that, in May, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy and a minor in Business. I was honored to receive the Emery E. Olson Award, recognizing the Sol Price School of Public Policy’s outstanding graduating senior for exceptional scholarship and leadership potential. As the first in my family to graduate from a four-year university (on a full ride!), this accomplishment opens the door to an infinite amount of opportunities for my family and I. Thank you to everyone who has mentored me along the way and shaped my passion for public service. Following my graduation, I briefly served as a Policy Deputy for the Los Angeles Charter Reform Commission. I greatly enjoyed supporting the Commission in their historic review of the Los Angeles City Charter and engaging with Angelenos to understand their priorities. Now, I am excited to announce my acceptance into the prestigious Capital Fellows Program as a 2025-26 Senate Fellow in the Office of Senator Durazo. I look forward to learning more about the legislative process in the California State Legislature, addressing pressing policy issues, and serving the people of California.
