Sparklers. Someone's questionable potato salad. A cooler full of drinks that are ice cold. It's the 4th of July tomorrow. America turns 250. Not something that happens everyday…we deserve to celebrate this moment. 250 years of independence. Of deciding what your life looks like. Of having the freedom to go anywhere. And yet. You're standing in a backyard, paper plate in hand, quietly doing the math on how many vacation days you still haven't used. No judgment. I've been there. But if the country gets a birthday, maybe you do too. Not a cake-and-candles birthday. More of a passport-and-a-glass-of-something-excellent birthday. The kind where someone else handles the logistics, and your only job is to show up. Happy 250th, America. 📍Empire State Building, New York
