18 years at SAP. April 1st. Not a joke. Christian Klein sent a note today. One line stayed with me: “it’s the combination of every single colleague’s experience that enables us to keep bringing out the best.” He’s right — and it’s easy to forget when you’re heads-down in transformation work. What’s kept me here isn’t the product portfolio or the market position. It’s the people — colleagues who became trusted peers and friends, partners who became long-term collaborators, teams that taught me as much as I tried to enable them.
