Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming final-year students from the renowned Engadin boarding school Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz to Lugano for an intensive Investment Education Day – turning theory into practice in just one day.   Travelling from St. Moritz to our Palazzo Riva – an 18th-century palace and today EFG International’s dedicated training centre – the students immersed themselves in the world of private banking and investing:   Visited our vault, gaining a tangible sense of what it means to safeguard clients’ assets Experienced the dynamics of our trading floor, seeing how markets are monitored and decisions are executed in real time Explored the basics of balanced portfolio theory, discussing diversification, risk/return trade-offs and long-term investing principles   Bringing young talent into direct contact with practitioners is core to how we see our role as a global private bank: not only managing wealth, but also sharing knowledge and fostering financial literacy for the next generation of decision-makers.   A big thank you to everyone who made the day possible and so engaging: Andrea Melcher, Manuel Weber, Melanie Beyeler, Florian O., Sylvana Pignatiello, Yannik Primus, Luciano Crobu from EFG, and Harald Oswald as well as Andrina Brunner from Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz.   We look forward to continuing this collaboration and inspiring more students to take an active, informed interest in the world of finance and investing.   #WeAreEFG #NextGeneration #FinancialLiteracy
