This is a careers network, and it seems only fitting to celebrate the lives and careers of those who left us. Just today, we learn that South #African #Jazz Titan and outstanding pianist Abdullah #Ibrahim passed away in his second home, #Germany aged 91, as reported by South African πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ Media. In the late 80s, when I became an ANC supporter myself, I first came upon his political work. He was called the "African #Mozart" by no other than Nelson #Mandela, and rightfully so. His distinguished career lasted over 70 years. And he truly connected cultures and continents. What a man, what a life.
