Some posts age poorly. This one just needed better weather in the Netherlands. Back in March, we traded Dutch grey skies for a few days in sunny California. We kept the photos in drafts for a while (purely as an act of solidarity with everyone still scraping frost off their windshield, brrrr) 🥶 Now seems like a safer time to share them. So here's your throwback Friday ⬇️ We promise you, they took the sunglasses off when going to bed 🕶️ CEO Bart Sanders and COO Golo von Basum landed in Dana Point for a few days at LSI USA. Against all German and Dutch odds, they even avoided the classic “sunglasses imprint” sunburn look. Thank you, SPF 50+! LSI is one of those rare moments where the entire medtech ecosystem compresses into a few days: founders, investors, and executives from some of the world’s leading strategic players: All circling around the same question: what’s next, and who’s going to build it. And yes, the setting helped🌴 What the pictures don’t show is the layer underneath it all: Investor deep dives, candid exchanges with major medtech companies, and that familiar LSI dynamic where momentum quietly builds.
