London has this reputation for never revealing itself all at once. You walk it, layer by layer: history under your feet, something new taking shape just above it. That’s probably why it felt like the right place for us last Tuesday. At the Charing Cross Symposium 🇬🇧, our Vital-IT 1 clinical study stepped onto the Mainstage. Laying the fundament for something bigger: grounded in data, shaped by years of iteration. Prof. Marianne Brodmann shared the latest progress during the session on drug-eluting resorbable scaffolds in lower limb arterial disease. Alongside industry leaders, we presented our data, successfully demonstrating the initial safety and performance of our devices from this clinical feasibility study. A full room, yes. But what mattered more was what followed. The kind of questions that don’t come from curiosity alone, but from recognition: when people start to see where this could go, and what it could change. Building in medtech is a lot like building in a city like London: you’re part of something rich with history and meaning. You get to build on strong foundations, learn from what’s already there, and thoughtfully add something new. It’s an opportunity to create solutions that not only fit today, but will continue to matter and improve lives for years to come. 📸: Kim van Noort, Bart Sanders #medtech #stentit #stents #outreach #charingcross
