He graduated in health sciences rehabilitation from Stellenbosch University. His achievement represents more than an individual milestone. Over nearly six years, Mduzana balanced academic work, leadership responsibilities and family life โ€” supported by a network of colleagues, mentors, friends and loved ones. As a father of four, navigating these responsibilities required discipline, resilience and sustained commitment. His doctoral research focuses on developing locally relevant clinical guidelines for lower-limb prosthetic prescription. In the absence of standardised national frameworks, clinicians often rely on international guidelines that may not reflect local realities. His work aims to bridge this gap, strengthening evidence-based practice and improving patient outcomes in South Africa and potentially across the region. Beyond research, Mduzana is committed to advancing and transforming the orthotics and prosthetics field, encouraging the next generation of professionals to pursue leadership and specialised expertise. His journey is a powerful reminder that achievement is rarely individual โ€” it is built through shared support, purpose and perseverance. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Read more:ย https://cutt.ly/ItAPAxnP
