𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒅𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆. 🤍 A decade ago, 𝑱𝒐𝒚 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒓 was a teenager undergoing treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia. Today, she is a 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍-𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑴𝑩𝑪𝒉𝑩 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 at Stellenbosch University, preparing for a career in medicine. Inspired by the healthcare professionals who cared for her during one of the most challenging periods of her life, Joy chose to pursue a path that would allow her to make a similar difference in the lives of others.
