Stellenbosch University joins the higher education community in mourning the passing of Prof Tandi Matsha-Erasmus, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU). Matsha-Erasmus served the higher education sector with distinction and was widely respected for her leadership, scholarship and commitment to advancing academic excellence. We extend our condolences to her family and loved ones, and the SMU community.
