I organised my first event at the Royal Society of Medicine! Last Friday’s event was centred around the realities of bringing digital technologies within the NHS. As medical professionals practicing at the age of AI, most of us will need to be able to understand, use, develop and integrate digital tools. Joe Zhang and Will Browne elegantly laid out the current NHS landscape and programmes shaping NHS data today, and it’s much more complicated than I realised. We then dove deeper into the practicalities of integrating digital technologies from both the perspective of organisations and the innovators/startups looking to bring these technologies into the NHS.
