Psychology Graduate from the University of Liverpool

I’m incredibly proud to share that I have graduated from the University of Liverpool with a High 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Psychology🧠🎓 Over the past three years, I’ve developed a diverse range of skills in psychological research, including coding, data analysis, critical thinking, and evaluating complex psychological evidence. My degree has provided me with a deeper understanding of human behaviour and strengthened my ability to synthesise information from a wide range of psychological literature to form evidence-based conclusions. A particular highlight for me was studying Forensic Psychology, where I achieved 72% in my final examination. The exam required synthesising multiple areas of forensic psychology into essay-based answers, recalling a broad range of research and thinking critically under pressure. Exploring criminal behaviour alongside police responses to missing people and serious offences confirmed that forensic psychology is the field of psychology I am most passionate about. I’m excited to take the next step by beginning my Master’s in Forensic Psychology this September. I’m also incredibly proud of completing my independent dissertation, which examined the predictors of emotional and external eating. This project deepened my understanding of the entire research process, from developing an ethics application and collecting data to cleaning datasets, conducting statistical analyses, interpreting findings, and producing a full written research report. I achieved 68% in my written dissertation and 80% in my dissertation presentation. It was an experience I genuinely thrived in and thoroughly enjoyed because it gave me the opportunity to communicate my research and findings with confidence. A special thank you to Professor Charlotte Hardman for her guidance, encouragement, and support throughout my dissertation project. Completing my degree while balancing two part-time jobs and an internship has been challenging but incredibly rewarding, making this achievement even more meaningful. I’m excited to continue building on everything I’ve learnt throughout my degree as I begin my Master’s in Forensic Psychology, and I look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead. #Psychology #UniOfLiverpool #Graduate #Research
