After 8 unforgettable years at Zscaler, it’s time to hit pause 🚦 What began as a wild ride as an Enterprise SE became the most defining chapter of my career. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made my last day in Munich and the many warm moments over the past weeks special. And while today marks my first day outside of Zscaler, it also marks the beginning of something new. Back in 2017, we were fewer than 1,000 employees with a strong vision. Today: ~8,000, nearly $3B ARR, redefining how the world is secured & Zero Trust understood. Being part of this journey has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. Yesterday, we closed FY25. Once again, the entire CEUR team delivered an incredible performance.   Also, once again, the Majors team raised the bar and delivered outstanding performance, for some a truly career-defining time. Andre Staffe, Augusto dé Abreu, Elias Kickinger, Markus Henn, Martin Wojciechowski, Oliver Holthöfer, Simon Lindermann, Sven Becher und Sven Olsfelder, CISSP, working with you and your teams has been an absolute joy & inspiration. You’ve built something exceptional, and leading this team was one of the greatest honors of my career. Thank you for your trust, your relentless collaboration & the camaraderie we’ve built along the way. Also Gregor Keller thank you for not only shaping my career path, but also helping me grow as a leader and human over the past years. Your trust, clarity and support made all the difference. To all the brilliant minds I’ve met across functions, regions, and years, including many amazing ZS alumni: I wish I could name you all. But the list would be too long and I’d still miss someone. So here’s a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this journey what it was. You know who you are. 💙 And while I’m stepping away, I’ll be cheering from the sidelines - loud & proud. Because I’m genuinely excited for what’s ahead at Zscaler.   With the visionary platform Jay Chaudhry has envisioned, the trailblazing creativity of Dhawal Sharma and his PM teams, and Nathan H. and his innovation crew pushing boundaries, this company isn’t just leading the Zero Trust movement, it’s reshaping it. And, in many ways, creating what comes next. Next up for me? A 6-month break to spend real, uninterrupted time with my two daughters. After 8 years of full speed, customer calls, quarter-end rallies, last-minute-closings, QBRs, trips, SKOs, and all the beautiful chaos in between, I’m choosing to slow down, be present, and enjoy everyday moments that don’t fit into a calendar invite. No next role lined up or roadmap. Just traveling, playgrounds, music, bike rides, bedtime stories & the joy of seeing the world through their eyes. And yes, you’ll probably still spot me at it-sa in Nürnberg later this year because I can’t miss the class reunion of our industry.
