Today marks one year since we opened our lookout tower next to our steel plant in Boden! Since our site is an active construction area, access is understandably restricted for safety reasons. But we still wanted to create an opportunity for the local community and visitors to see the project for themselves and learn more about what we're building. Inspired by the architecture of our DRI tower, we built the lookout tower. It is painted in the iconic ‘Falu Red’ and handcrafted locally in Boden with a wooden structure that is inspired by the Swedish cultural landscape and seasons. Over the past year, we've welcomed hundreds of visitors, from representatives of major companies, customers, politicians and students to, perhaps most importantly, local visitors of all ages, watching something new take shape. That is something we are very happy about. Thank you to everyone who has stopped by. And if you ever find yourself in Boden, don't forget to visit our little tower!
