First electrolyzer equipment installed! Late last week, the first 20MW electrolyzer module was installed at our green hydrogen plant in Boden. In the months ahead, 37 electrolyzers, delivered as hundreds of pre-fabricated modules, will be assembled and installed to form the heart of Europe’s largest green hydrogen facility. This green hydrogen will then be used to reduce iron ore pellets to direct-reduced iron ready for use in our steel mill. By replacing coal with green hydrogen, we will slash CO₂ emissions from the ironmaking process. Another step forward on our mission to decarbonize hard-to-abate industry.
