A milestone on the tracks! This week, an inauguration ceremony was held for the new railway connection to Boden Industrial Park, with the first locomotive officially rolling onto the completed railway. The railway connection is an important piece of infrastructure for our steel plant and will connect to our own 10+ kilometre internal railway network, currently under construction across our site. Infrastructure like this plays a key role in making the entire operation work, enabling the transport of both raw materials and finished products to and from the plant. Well done Polar Structure, the Municipality of Boden, Peab, and all partners for bringing this key infrastructure project in Boden to completion. 📸 Municipality of Boden
