Great opportunity to exchange views on the increasing complexity of the EU trade agenda, at the intersection between open trade and economic security. We went beyond the U.S. and China, underlining the strategic importance of managing relations with like-minded partners such as the UK, Japan and countries across South America. As stronger trade tools are not effective on their own without solid political alignment across Member States, a key question remains: what is the recipe for the EU to effectively implement its trade strategy? Many thanks to Wine&Politics for the opportunity to take part in this timely discussion!
