A little less conversation, a little more action, please.

Day 1: Realize Value — beside the main stage Keynotes are great, but sometimes the most valuable takeaways are not on the main stage. First days session "Against the Clock – Turning Complexity into a Successful Global Big Bang PDM Rollout" was a strong example from a team that is used to do the heave duty work. Yvonne Herter Christina Werner Tobias Kunde A global PDM rollout at this scale is truly heavy duty work: thousands of users, massive data volumes, legacy complexity, business-critical engineering processes, and a fixed go-live window. What stood out were the success factors behind PLATON: Clear leadership and governance. Fast decisions, clear ownership, strong alignment between business and IT. Global collaboration. Daimler Truck, Siemens + Intelizign and all involved teams working across company boundaries with one common target. Structured execution in a complex landscape. Parallel workstreams, controlled dependencies, clear priorities, and the discipline to keep moving under pressure. The right experts on site. Critical phases need direct interaction, fast clarification, and trust between the teams. Stabilization after go-live. A big bang is not the finish line. It is the start of harmonization, scaling, performance stabilization, and continuous value creation. This team clearly knows how to lift heavy duty - not only on the road, but also in PLM transformation. I would especially also mention the great questions from the audiance and the very valuable answers. Strong case study. Strong team. Strong reminder that successful transformation is never only about technology. It is about governance, collaboration, execution discipline, and people who can handle complexity when it gets real. I'm happy that we could be part of the roadtrip, against the clock and arround the clock :) Thank you for the great case study and thank you for the partnership!
