Many, including Prof. Dylan Evans Jones and Peter Noyes are discussing the failure of Welsh universities, their leaders 'turning off the lights', turning out hundreds of staff while the leaders themselves continue to enjoy the highest paid salaries of any public officials in Wales. Young sheepish newspaper journalists and unions fail to either challenge this, stop it, or even smply tell the story. Here below is another indicator of the failing university sector: university promotions, which push the obsequious and the dullest forward. Scopus ratings are the most accurately calculated objective measure of an academic's worth, both their research quality and institutional impact. H- numbers are produced by Elsevier, the largest scientific data analytics firm in the world. Here is my little collection from Swansea University. So the question is: which of these characters is NOT a Full Professor? Yes, you've got it, Dr. Stefan Halikowski Smith, who also happens to have the highest h-number of all!  Academia should, in my opinion, be a meritocracy.
