After joining 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen with my DK team together with Naoko-san visiting us in Denmark, we left with a strong sense of product pride and energy, as lot of Ahaa's. Across the visits to Royal Copenhagen, Waterford, Georg Jensen and Iittala, the same message came through clearly: design is not only about beauty. It is about heritage, relevance, craftsmanship, innovation and the ability to keep creating products that customers truly connect with. I am proud to echo Daniel Lalonde’s message on Vita’s growth ambition: growth must come through innovation, strong brands, great products and sharper execution. I recommend this good read: https://lnkd.in/euqw995n For Us the IT perspective is an important part of that story - an addition for the article. Great products need to be supported by efficient, scalable and reliable processes behind the scenes. IT must help ensure that products can be produced efficiently, planned intelligently, moved through the supply chain, and made available to customers across all channels — wholesale, retail, e-commerce and future digital customer touchpoints. That is where technology becomes more than “systems”. It becomes a growth enabler. The brands we visited each carry a unique legacy, but they also point forward: Royal Copenhagen with timeless craftsmanship. Waterford with premium crystal heritage. Georg Jensen with design-led elegance. Iittala with Nordic functionality and creativity. ... and many more ..14 brands more .. A great reminder that our job in IT is not only to support operations — it is to help make growth possible. Thanks to Hanne Wifstrand for planning the afternoon, and to the teams for the energy over the three inspiring days, and thank Naoko Okamoto-san for joining us in Copenhagen, really a pleasure. #3DaysofDesign #FiskarsGroup #Vita #RoyalCopenhagen #Waterford #GeorgJensen #Iittala #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #Growth #Omnichannel #DesignThinking
