From inspiration to implementation! A successful study visit is not measured by what happens during the week, it is measured by what happens after participants return home. Following an intensive week in Copenhagen, our Strategic Sector Cooperation partners have now gone back to Ghana, Morocco and Vietnam with concrete plans to strengthen communication and dissemination in their national statistical offices. While each organisation has its own priorities, several immediate actions have already been identified: • Finalise communication strategies and annual communication plans. • Strengthen statistical literacy initiatives. • Develop social media policies and use data to better understand what engages their audiences. Over the next six months, the ambitions grow even further: • Expand their presence on social media and build staff capacity. • Strengthen organisational branding. • Integrate AI into statistical dissemination platforms and explore new digital communication tools. Looking even further ahead, the vision is clear: making official statistics more accessible and relevant through AI, stronger partnerships and improved statistical literacy across society. These action plans are the direct result of a packed programme covering communication strategy, statistical literacy, social media, digital dissemination, crisis communication, user engagement and emerging technologies. Visits to Danmarks Nationalbank and Danish Industry also provided valuable perspectives on communicating data to decision-makers and businesses. The most rewarding outcome is not what participants learned in Copenhagen, it is seeing how that knowledge is already being translated into concrete actions back home. We look forward to continue following their progress in the months and years ahead.
