Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play a pivotal role in our workforce—supporting Staten Islanders, strengthening local families, and sustaining essential services that drive Staten Island’s economic vitality. That impact was on full display as we celebrated the recent graduates of the Person Centered Care Services (PCCS) Career Ladder Program. SIEDC joined last week’s PCCS graduation to honor the DSP graduates, with our President & CEO Mike Cusick delivering opening remarks in recognition of their achievements. Thank you to member and PCCS Executive Director cRis marchioNNe, and Board President Donna Long, for inviting SIEDC to be part of this momentous occasion for Staten Island’s DSPs.
