Paul will join Stary Norton Halphen on 1st April 2026, and the firm will be renamed Stary Norton Halphen & Galbally. Paul has been a cornerstone of Galbally & O’Bryan’s criminal law department since 1992 and is widely recognised as a leading defence lawyer, with particular expertise in corporate and white-collar criminal prosecutions. An Accredited Criminal Law Specialist, Paul has managed some of Australia’s most complex and high-profile criminal cases. He has also represented a range of clients before Public Inquiries and Royal Commissions, and has represented clients in proceedings instituted by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Paul is renowned for his insight and understanding of the investigation process adopted by law enforcement agencies.
