As our International Women’s Day celebrations wrap up at Staples Canada, we’re proud to reflect on a month dedicated to supporting women—our associates, our partners, and the female entrepreneurs who help power our business. Throughout March, our teams across the country came together for Mix and Mingles hosted by our Women Who Lead Business Resource Group, creating space for connection, conversation, and community. We also hosted a special in‑person and virtual Lunch & Learn featuring Staples vendor and customer Julie Bednarski, MHSc, PHEc, RD, Founder of Healthy Crunch, spotlighting the innovation, creativity, and leadership of women‑owned businesses. Moderated by Adrian Lang, Chief People and Legal Officer, the Lunch & Learn gave associates insight into Julie’s entrepreneurial journey, her partnership with Staples, and the importance of intentional support for female founders as they grow and scale their businesses. The conversation sparked thoughtful questions, meaningful dialogue, and a shared sense of pride in championing women in business. A sincere thank you to the Women Who Lead volunteers whose passion, leadership, and dedication made these events possible. Their efforts were instrumental in bringing our commitment to women’s advancement and entrepreneurship to life. Together, these moments reinforced what we stand for at Staples Canada—lifting up women, investing in their success, and creating opportunities for leadership, connection, and growth.
