Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet Inc. and a Stanford alum, will return to the Farm to deliver Stanford’s 135th Commencement address. After earning a master's degree in materials science and engineering at Stanford, Pichai went on to help build and lead products used by billions around the world, including Google Chrome. He will address graduates and their guests at Stanford Stadium on June 14. The ceremony will be Pichai’s first in-person commencement speech. “Sundar is a deeply thoughtful leader who has a vivid sense for how technology can improve society and transform individual lives. He epitomizes what it means for a Stanford graduate to have a broad impact,” said Stanford President Jon Levin. “I'm excited to hear his reflections and advice to our graduates as they take the next step into their own futures.”
