Applications are now open for the 2026 Perioperative Nurse Program at St Andrew’s Hospital, offering experienced Registered Nurses a dedicated pathway into the specialised areas of Anaesthetics & Recovery or Theatre (Scrub/Scout). Designed for nurses with at least three years of acute clinical experience outside the perioperative environment, the program combines hands-on clinical experience with structured education, one-on-one mentorship and ongoing support from our experienced Clinical Educators. Whether you're looking to specialise, take your career in a new direction or return to the workforce, you'll be supported to build the confidence, skills and knowledge needed to thrive in perioperative nursing, with permanent ongoing employment available upon successful completion of the program.
