At Responsible Investor Europe 2026, one message was clear: we need to evolve how we approach climate risk. Standard Life has sponsored Responsible Investor’s inaugural Climate Risk and Resilience Survey - which looks at how investors are responding to these challenges and where progress is being made. As keynote speaker, Bruno Gardner, Standard Life's Head of Climate Change and Nature, highlighted that as the climate challenge evolves, the way we invest must change too - with a greater focus on understanding where portfolios are exposed to physical climate risk and building long-term resilience. Our approach reflects this. We're strengthening how we understand physical climate risk across our portfolios, helping us identify where risks may grow over time and guide the actions needed to manage them.
