A proud moment in Valencia. Partnerships move projects forward. Today, we celebrated one of them. Together with SBB Cargo, we unveiled the final livery design of the new EURO DuFour locomotive —a milestone that reflects the close collaboration between our teams and a shared vision for the future of rail freight. As the launch customer for the EURO DuFour platform, SBB Cargo Switzerland will be the first operator of Stadler’s new generation of electric mainline locomotives. The project also marks an im-portant step for Stadler as we enter the electric Bo’Bo’ locomotive segment, the backbone of freight transport across Europe. And yes, the EURO DuFour will be delivered in SBB’s iconic red livery—a colour that has become synonymous with Swiss rail. More than a new locomotive, the EURO DuFour represents innovation, sustainability and the power of long-term partnerships.
