🚆 EURO6000 expands its European reach Stadler’s powerful EURO6000 electric locomotive has officially received approval for operations in Belgium, following the authorization for Luxembourg obtained at the end of 2025. 🇧🇪 🇱🇺 With more than 100 locomotives in service, this six-axle powerhouse is already operating international freight between France and Spain, demonstrating outstanding reliability across key European corridors. 💪 The EURO6000 is currently the only locomotive operating along the North Sea–Mediterranean Corridor, a strategic route linking Southern and Northern Europe via Spain, France, Luxembourg and Belgium. Designed for seamless cross-border operations, it now enables uninterrupted freight flows between Barcelona and Antwerp – a vital axis of the TEN-T network, supporting modal shift and greener logistics.
