My heart is heavy, but my belief in this team is even stronger. Last Thursday was a difficult day for many of us at Cloudflare. While transitions like this are never easy, my focus is entirely on the incredible people from my team who are preparing for their next amazing roles. I want to make sure the world knows exactly the kind of talent that is becoming available. This team was truly global, with talented professionals across the US (including hubs in Austin and the SF Bay Area), London, Switzerland, Singapore, Japan, and Australia. They were the engine behind our most critical revenue initiatives. From architecting our first-ever Global Sales Kickoff enablement sessions to evolving our Onboarding programs and building specialized Partner Enablement journeys—this team knows how to drive impact at scale. Whether they are Sales/Partner Enablement Consultants, Technical Trainers, Instructional Designers, or Media Designers, they are truly the best in the business. What truly set them apart, however, was their "builder" mindset. They have spent the last year operationalizing AI—leveraging Gemini and NotebookLM alongside tools like Windsurf and OpenCode to build custom AI Agents and automated workflows. These aren't just surface-level users; they are deep-thinking creators who bridge the gap between complex technology and revenue impact. To my team: You made me a better leader every single day. I am so sorry our journey together ended this way, but I am your biggest fan and your loudest advocate. To my network: If you are hiring, you won't find a group more prepared for the future of work.
