New Publication: shadowVIMP in BMC Bioinformatics! We’ve developed shadowVIMP, a novel method for variable selection with random forests that handles correlated and categorical variables in high-dimensional data. It improves reliability and interpretability of results, with strong performance in simulations and is available on CRAN. The publication features an applied example of shadowVIMP on a real Alzheimer’s disease data set.
