Following an inspiring visit from The University of Western Australia researchers, Clinical Professor Michaela Lucas and Dr Amelia Harray, earlier this term, our Year 7 ESSTEAM students have been busy prototyping and refining their final designs aimed at reducing plastic waste. As the culmination of the unit, seven group finalists showcased their ideas at yesterday’s Innovation Showcase, presenting to members of the School Executive Team and Dr Amelia Harray. This experience provided a valuable opportunity for students to share their ideas with a real audience and receive meaningful feedback.
