This week, six of our Year 11 Chemistry students had the wonderful opportunity to attend the ChemCentre’s High Achievers Day. The experience included exclusive lab tours, engaging talks from experts in Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology, and inspiring addresses from the Hon. Stephen Dawson, Minister for Science, and Professor Sharath Sriram, Chief Scientist of WA. It was a fantastic day that provided valuable insights into careers in Chemistry, as well as the vital work of the ChemCentre in emergency response and their support of police and legal processes across Western Australia.
