As our Director of Advancement, Kellie Hasluck, explores in her latest article, Rising Significance of Asia for Australian Schools, the connections between Australian schools and Asia have never been more important. As our communities become increasingly global, meaningful relationships beyond our borders are creating new opportunities for learning, collaboration and belonging. With this in mind, St Hilda's recently travelled across South East Asia to celebrate 130 years of education with our Old Scholars, current families and prospective families. Beginning in Hong Kong and continuing through Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Singapore, Principal Fiona Johnston shared updates on how St Hilda's continues to innovate and evolve while remaining true to the values and traditions that have shaped generations of girls. Each gathering, generously hosted by local parents and Old Scholars, was a wonderful reminder that while our community spans the globe, the St Hilda's connection remains remarkably strong. It was heartwarming to hear stories of school camps, sport, music, favourite teachers and lifelong friendships, while also seeing new connections formed across our growing international network. A sincere thank you to the parents and Old Scholars who welcomed us so warmly. Your generosity and hospitality made this tour truly memorable and reinforced the strength of the St Hilda's community, wherever in the world it may be.
