His Eminence Archbishop Mor Boutros Kassis, Archbishop of Aleppo and Environs and General Manager of the St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC),, received a delegation from Mission East Øst, headed by Country Director Mr. Randhir Singh , at the EPDC office in Aleppo, in the presence of an administrative team from the organization. During the meeting, His Eminence and the delegation discussed the development projects implemented in partnership between EPDC and Mission East, highlighting the fruitful outcomes and positive impact on beneficiaries, particularly in the areas of small-scale business support, livelihoods, and the protection project through Child Friendly Spaces. The delegation also visited several beneficiaries of small-scale business support during 2025–2026, who have successfully launched their own projects to secure a sustainable source of income, ensuring a dignified and stable life for themselves and their families. The team encouraged them to continue developing and expanding their businesses. Furthermore, the delegation visited the Shams Center in the town of Al-Zarbah in the Aleppo countryside, where they observed the field conditions in preparation for launching upcoming support for small-scale livestock (sheep farming) projects in the coming period.
