𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 As global aviation activity continues to grow, ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace business is responding to higher demand across its MRO, OEM and Asset Management activities. Kevin Chow, who now leads ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace business, brings a strong understanding of the sector, shaped by his leadership of the Aerostructures and Systems segment within Commercial Aerospace and earlier roles in strategy and business development within the same business. Demand across both MRO and OEM is underpinned by high fleet utilisation, ongoing ramp-up in aircraft and engine production, and airlines keeping aircraft in service longer. This is increasingly visible in maintenance demand for both current-generation engines like the CFM56 and new-generation engines such as LEAP as they enter their maintenance cycles, as well as continued demand for nacelle production linked to A320neo aircraft deliveries. In addition, our Aviation Asset Management business is also seeing a demand uptick for aircraft and engine leasing. Over the past few years, Commercial Aerospace has been strengthening its position to capture this demand. This includes expanding capacity in key markets, deepening partnerships to broaden service offerings, and building out new capabilities across both manufacturing and services. In parallel, digital and AI-enabled solutions are being integrated across its global network to enhance productivity, support more efficient execution, and improve the quality of delivery. Kevin sees this shift reflected in how the business now operates. “What has changed for our Commercial Aerospace business is not just the level of demand, but the breadth and integration across the business today.
