In honor of Earth Week 🌎, we’re highlighting how St. Edward’s students are learning to protect the environments around them, starting right here in Texas. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eCdw9wCd Through hands-on courses like Texas Ecology, students don’t just study ecosystems, they experience them. From fieldwork across Central Texas to engaging with real-world conservation challenges, they’re building the skills needed to become the next generation of environmental stewards. As one student shared: “It perfectly encapsulates what an environmental science class is supposed to be… learning through real-life situations instead of just sitting in a classroom.” Guided by Associate Professor of Environmental Science Amy Concillio, students are connecting science, policy, and practice — preparing for careers that make a meaningful impact on the world around them.
