SRUC's Nick Littlewood featured on BBC Radio 4's Out of Doors, speaking to Rachel Stewart about his award-winning Littlewood Box - an innovative camera trap box designed specifically to improve the monitoring of small mammals. Developed alongside his wife, the Littlewood Box received recognition from the Mammal Society for its contribution to wildlife research and conservation, helping researchers capture valuable insights into species that can often be challenging to study. Rachel visited our Aberdeen Campus to learn more about Nick's work, joined by PhD student Vicky Graves, who also shared insights from her research into small mammal vocalisations.
