𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲? We are looking for a Program Lead with a vision for the future of technology for space research to become the new Head of the SRON Technology Program. SRON is the space research expert institute in the Netherlands, where we combine a high level of space science with development and engineering of the next generation space instruments. We work together with international partners and develop groundbreaking technology and advanced space instruments. As Head of Technology, you will lead a programme that looks 20 years ahead, connecting and enabling SRON’s science goals in astrophysics and Earth observation. You will oversee a broad portfolio of technologies, including imaging spectroscopy with cryogenic detectors and optical front ends. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across science and engineering, and collaborate with partners such as TU Delft and NOVA to further develop the Technology Program.
