Search, content, personalization, data. Digital and marketing teams are usually improving them one at a time. Almost nobody's connecting the dots. Here's what that looks like in practice. Picture a prospective customer searching for information about a business or service: ➡️ AI search doesn't surface its content, so they land on its website instead ➡️ But the on-site search bar doesn't surface the information they're after, so they give up and start clicking through menus ➡️ With no personalized experience, nothing speaks to their situation ➡️ The company's systems record all of it behind the scenes, but with no visibility into that data, nothing changes The result? The visitor leaves, costing the business a conversion.
