In this study, Jonas Schmidinger, Valentin Barkov, Hamed Tavakoli, Markus Ostermann, Martin Atzmueller, Robin Gebbers and Sebastian Vogel explore how different soil sensors - combined with satellite data - perform when predicting important soil properties like pH, moisture and nutrients. 🟤 Their key finding: using the right combination of sensors matters more than simply using many of them. In some cases, adding more sensors did not improve results at all. This research supports SQAT’s approach of building soil assessment systems that are not only accurate, but also practical, efficient and cost-effective for real-life use. 📖 The full paper is available on the SQAT website: 👉 https://lnkd.in/dKsQ3u4G #SQAT #SoilSensors #PrecisionFarming #DigitalAgriculture #SoilMapping
