Sunday is 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, a day to recognize and celebrate the contributions, cultures and traditions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. At Sprung, we are grateful for opportunities to work alongside Indigenous communities to help create spaces that bring people together and support community life. 📷 One example is our collaboration with Bearspaw First Nation, part of the Stoney Nakoda Nation in Alberta. This multi-purpose 15,000-square-foot facility, located on the Eden Valley Reserve, was designed as a gathering place for sports, programs, events and community services. Built primarily by members of the Nation, the facility transformed an unused site into a welcoming community hub where people can connect, learn and participate in activities that strengthen the community.
