This June, our ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต takes us to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, Alaska, where Sprung helped restore a critical capability for the United States Air Force. After its original Munitions Configuration Shelter suffered structural failure during the winter of 2022-23, the 3rd Munitions Squadron needed a rapidly deployable replacement facility that could withstand Alaskaโs extreme weather while providing a safe, climate-controlled environment for essential munitions operations. Working in partnership with BANAIR, Sprung designed and delivered a fully insulated 9,000-square-foot Munitions Configuration Shelter engineered for durability and performance. Erected on an asphalt foundation and secured with earth anchors, the structure features a Berry Amendment-compliant Mediterranean Olive Tedlar membrane, a spacious clear-span interior for efficient operations and six rolling service doors to support easy movement of equipment and materials. Today, the facility provides the 3rd Munitions Squadron with a reliable, all-weather workspace that supports mission readiness in one of the worldโs most demanding operating environments. ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ about our defense and military solutions at https://lnkd.in/eSWkgtz3 #Military #Defense #MissionReady #SprungStructures #BuildFaster
