Balancing global research communications with new experiences abroad, Chloe Baker’s workation was both productive and enriching. As an Assistant Communications Officer at Springer Nature, Chloe works to help showcase the research we publish, as well as supporting the smooth daily running of her team. Thanks to the flexibility of Springer Nature’s workation programme, she took her role to Thailand, combining her day-to-day responsibilities with the opportunity to explore new places, before rounding off the trip with a visit to Vietnam. From work mornings in Chiang Mai to travelling through Bangkok and the southern islands. The trip also gave her the chance to reconnect with a close friend who happened to be nearby. Another standout aspect of her experience was collaboration. The workation enabled closer collaboration with her colleague in China and created a more connected and efficient way of working. A workation shaped by flexibility, collaboration, and discovery. Explore opportunities with us and #BePartOfProgress: https://lnkd.in/gfvYXci #LifeAtSpringerNature #Workation
