STOP PRESS : EXCITING NEWS Pete Langman maybe known to some of you in the Young Onset Parkinson’s community and if you don’t know him…then you can find out about him https://lnkd.in/e_3NXQjd Musician, writer, photographer and cricket fan…Pete has been determined to not allow YOPD to steal his creativity….and now he has collaborated with some of his former colleagues and new musicians to digitally remaster and enhance a range of old recordings to create a new album : Dancing With Architects sees Pete from 1995 perform with fifteen guitarists, five drummers, four bass players, one blues harpist and a sitar player from the 2020s – musicians whose credits run the gamut from pop legends; B*witched and The Bay City Rollers through West End smash We Will Rock You, to rock heavyweights Paul Di’Anno (original singer for Iron Maiden). Stylistically it ranges from solo acoustic balladry to progressive metal shred via math rock. This is visionary guitar playing finally finding its time We are thrilled that Pete has nominated Spotlight YOPD as beneficiary of the profits from the album Details below Dancing With Architects is released on 31 July 2026 on all major platforms on bUMA RecordZ, with money going directly to Spotlight YOPD, a charity which Pete wishes had existed twenty years ago. He has a PhD on Francis Bacon (the other one), and is author of the memoir Slender Threads: A Young Person’s Guide to Parkinson’s Disease, the coffee-table book The Country House Cricketer, the novel Killing Beauties and the popular history book Spycraft (with Nadine Akkerman) Dancing with Architects is his first album in thirty years.
