Jean is turning pro! 🤘 "After sixteen years as an amateur, it is time for me to make the exciting decision to turn professional! As of today, the 7th March 2022, I renounce to my amateur status and I will start my professional career with a full season on the ProGolf Tour, the first goal being to earn a card on the Challenge Tour as soon as possible. Thanks to Golf Belgium, I will also be able to receive invitations on more prestigious tournaments. I would like to seize this opportunity to thank the Golf La Bruyère for forming and helping me when I was just a kid, and the Golf de Rigenée for their unconditional support for two years now. I would also like to thank Royal Belgian Golf Federation and the Association Francophone belge de Golf for their ongoing support, and for all the opportunities they have presented to me over the years, and the many memories and friendships created along the way. I would like to thank; All the coaches who have been part of my amateur journey, and especially Jerome Theunis, my mentor for almost ten years now, My parents and my family for always being there and supporting me through my decisions, My girlfriend for sticking by my side through thick and thin, My friends for their continuous support, All the people I have met through golf and who have always been encouraging and generous to me.
