Reiss Oteng: Why I started SplitSpark🚀 Most e-commerce founders I speak with say the same thing: “We don’t need more traffic. We need more profit.” For years, I noticed brands pouring cash into ads - only to lose customers on the product page, cart, or checkout. The traffic was there. The intent was there. But the experience? Full of revenue leaks! One of the moments that really cemented this for me was running an audit for a jewellery brand early on. They were pulling in around 350k visitors a month. After analysing their store externally - no tools, no backend access - I spotted three tiny leaks in their PDP and checkout flow. A quick breakdown of the numbers showed they were missing out on £78k every month. And after looking at hundreds of websites since, I’ve realised something most people don’t expect: the sites that look the best often hide the biggest issues. Clean checkout… but too many fields. Great products… but weak trust signals. Beautiful PDPs… but no urgency or scarcity. Small fixes - big impact. Most of these changes alone can lift conversions by 10–25%. That’s why I started SplitSpark.
