Welcoming our newest cohort of hospitality leaders. 🎉 We’re proud to introduce an exceptional group joining the Hospitality Business Leadership (HBL) program—individuals from across India, each bringing a unique lens to the future of hospitality. This year’s cohort is anything but ordinary: a 15,000 ft Bhuran Ghati trekker, state and district-level athletes, an award-winning SAE electric two-wheeler designer, a TEDx Hyderabad jingle composer, an FTII-certified filmmaker, and a Northeast India essay competition rank-holder recognised by NCHMCT and the Ministry of Tourism. The journey began with a compelling panel on “From ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ to Global Benchmark: Positioning India on the World Hospitality Stage.” The discussion explored how India’s enduring philosophy of guest reverence can evolve into measurable excellence and position the country as a global hospitality leader. Featuring industry leaders—Roopal S. (Taj The Trees, Mumbai), Sonia Paul (Fairmont Mumbai & Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel), Nikhil Bhoomkar (SLB Flavours & Chhota Hazri Spirits), and Gauri Nayar (Twain Communications)—and moderated by Joseph Karam (Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland), the session set the tone for what lies ahead.
