Spiro Kenya recently hosted a delegation led by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority EPRA, alongside representatives from the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission PURC, Ghana at our Kenya assembling facility. The benchmarking visit provided regulators with a practical, systems level view of electric mobility implementation, from local assembly of electric motorcycles to the operational dynamics of battery swapping infrastructure. This kind of exposure is critical in informing evidence based regulatory frameworks that are responsive to the realities of deployment, scale, and grid integration. As electric mobility transitions from pilot to policy priority across African markets, engagements like these play a pivotal role in aligning regulatory standards, tariff structures, and infrastructure planning with industry innovation. They also strengthen regional harmonization efforts, particularly within emerging EV ecosystems across the continent. Raymond Kitunga Vishal Mittal Flora Limukii, MPRSK Wilfred SIMON Kaushik Burman
