The conversation around electric mobility is shifting from “if” to “how fast.” As fuel prices remain volatile globally, riders are increasingly prioritizing predictability. Electric bikes offer exactly that through stable energy costs, allowing riders to better plan, earn, and grow their livelihoods. But adoption is not just about technology. It is about building the right ecosystem. Infrastructure, policy clarity, and stakeholder alignment will determine how quickly this transition scales. From a Kenya perspective, this is also a strategic opportunity to reduce dependence on imported fuel while strengthening locally powered mobility.
